Tracy Knights, ’89, was a standout two-sport athlete, lettering in basketball and softball. In softball, she was a major contributor to four Mayflower Conference Championships, two District 5 Championships, and two trips to the NAIA National Tournament. Tracy led her team in hitting during her junior and senior seasons. She received All-Mayflower Conference honors three times and was twice a District 5 All-Star selection. In addition to her many accomplishments on the softball field, Tracy was also a leader on the basketball court, where she was the second female 1,000-point scorer in Castleton State College history. She received All-Mayflower Conference and District 5 All-Star honors as a basketball player. Tracy was the recipient of the Mary Ellen Evans Outstanding Athlete Award in her senior year. Since graduating, Tracy has spent many hours giving back to athletics what she received during her youth. She has been a coach in both basketball and softball at Mt. Anthony Middle School in Bennington, Vermont.
