Michelle DuFour-Brodt, ’95 was arguably the greatest female basketball player to grace the Glenbrook hardwood. The all-time leading scorer in Castleton history with 1692 points, DuFour-Brodt took a struggling program onto her back and brought it to respectability by the time she played her last season. In her final season, Michelle was the NAIA Division II national scoring leader, averaging 29.5 points per game while shooting 58% from the field and 53% from beyond the three-point line. During that final season, she was recognized as the top player in the Mayflower Conference and received First Team All-American honors from the NAIA. DuFour-Brodt has since received her Master of Arts in education, is a first-grade teacher, and was recently selected for Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.
