Michael Dorion, ’81, helped Castleton dominate the New England baseball scene from 1978-1981. A pure hitter, Mike stillholds or shares 10 individual batting records at Castleton, including most career RBI (84), most career hits (99), most career doubles (25), most career extra base hits (37), and most home runs in a season (6). In his four years at Castleton, Mike helped lead his team to two Mayflower Conference Titles, two District 5 Championships, and two appearances in the NAIA Area VIII Tournament. Mike also received the honor of twice being named an NAIA All-American in baseball. Today, as the owner of Vermont Sports Medicine, Mike continues to show his strong support of Vermont athletes in all sports.
