Goff (Whiting) arrived at Castleton from nearby Granville, N.Y., and appeared in 23 games off the bench for the women's basketball team in 2003-04, averaging 5.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game. She earned her spot in the starting lineup in 2004-05, was second on the team in scoring at 13.5 points per game, and led the Spartans in rebounding with 8.5 boards per game. She picked up the first of her two team MVP awards after the 2005-06 campaign, collecting 14.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game. In her senior season, Goff averaged 14.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. After earning Second Team All-NAC honors in each of the previous two seasons, Goff was voted First Team All-NAC by the coaches in 2006-07. She finished her Castleton career with 1,298 points, 768 rebounds, and 87 blocked shots. Goff is one of only three Castleton players to score more than 1,200 points and grab over 700 rebounds. During her four seasons, the team posted a 74-35 overall record for a .679 winning percentage. Goff graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and worked in the Granville school system for four years and has since become an animal laboratory technician.
