Charles Cady ’74 was a standout three-sport lettering in soccer, lacrosse, and skiing.  As the captain of the men’s soccer team his senior year, he tended goal and led his team to a 6-4-2 record that brought the Spartans to a NAIA District playoff.  Charlie’s defensive skills resulted in his selection to the All-NESCAC second team.  On the men’s lacrosse team, Charlie helped his teammates to the 1973 ECAC Championship Tournament.  As an individual Charlie was selected for the “Coaches Award for Most Athletic Achievement” and was selected for the “Outstanding College Athletes of America Award”.  In 1973, Charlie was chosen to represent the United States on the Olympic Handball Team, he represented the United States until 1975.  Since graduation, Charlie received his Master of Science in Sports Medicine at Indiana University.  He currently resides in Hamilton, New York and works as a Special Investigator for Medical Fraud at New York Central Mutual Insurance Company.
