Daniel LeBlanc, ’84 played a key role in Castleton’s run of successful baseball teams in the early eighties. LeBlanc, the starting shortstop and lead-off hitter for two conference champions and two district champions, including the 1981 Hall of Fame team, utilized his quick hands and feet to garner all-conference and all-district honors. The consummate lead-off hitter, LeBlanc finished his four-year career with a .332 batting average and an on-base percentage of .523. He is also considered one of the best defensive infielders ever to play for the Spartans.
