PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Michael O'Connor of the Vermont State University Castleton men's soccer team was named to the Little East Conference All-LEC Second Team as announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.

The senior midfielder logged a career-high 12 points on the season, including five goals and two assists. In his standout performance against Paul Smith's College, he earned three points with a goal and an assist. He also scored the game-winning goal in the Spartans' 1-0 victory over SUNY Potsdam, and finished the season having played 1,569 minutes.

The Rutland, Vt. native caps off his career with eight goals and four assists for 20 points, through 73 games. The accolade marks the first of O'Connor's career after his most successful season to date.
