No. Adams, Mass. – Castleton hit the road for a non-conference match against Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) where they were firing on all cylinders and grabbed a 3-0 win over the Trailblazers to improve to 7-2 on the year.

Spencer Dandurand (Colchester, Vt.) put the Spartans on the board in the 9th minute of play. Dandurand blasted a shot that grazed a Trailblazers defender, redirecting the ball just out of the reach of MCLA goalkeeper Dillon Wagner (Amsterdam, N.Y.) and into the back of the net. The tally was Dandurand's fourth of the season.

The Spartans entered halftime with a slim 1-0 lead despite outshooting the Trailblazers 11-6 and dominating possession during the first half.

The Spartans came out of halftime with a fire inside. In the 50th minute, Tanner LeCuyer (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) found the Spartans leading goal scorer Bryce Kaler (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) on a long throw-in for a goal. For Kaler, this was his sixth consecutive game with a score.

Castleton struck again late in the game off of a set play. LeCuyer teed up a free kick and launched it into the box where Dillon Zaengle (Westhampton, Mass.) connected on a header, playing it into the back of the net.

Goalkeeper Nate Koenemann (Montpelier, Vt.) made seven saves en route to his third shutout of the season.
