Castleton finally broke through in the 61st minute as Dillon Zaengle (Westhampton, Mass.) took a free kick from 40 yards out and put it in the box, where Young passed it to Spencer Dandurand (Colchester, Vt.) who turned and fired the ball home for his second goal of the season.
Just over eight minutes later, Conlogue stole the ball at the top of the 18 and blasted a shot past Millard for his second goal of the year. At the 73:33 mark the Spartans got a fouled inside the box and Conlogue took the penalty kick, depositing the ball in the lower right corner of the net for the 3-0 advantage.
Junior Trevor Kotrady (No. Clarendon, Vt.) extended the lead in the 86th minute as he received a through ball from John Kendall (Springfield, Vt.) and beat Millard with a shot in the bottom right corner of the net.
