PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For the second week in a row, Carter Dickinson of the Vermont State University Castleton baseball team was named the Little East Conference Rookie of the Week.

Dickinson combined for 15 RBIs, 11 hits, and three home runs through five games as the Spartans went 2-3 on the week. The rookie posted two hits with two RBIs in the Spartans' 14-13 win over Middlebury in extra innings, including his first home run of the week. He posted a career-high day in the 24-15 win over Norwich, setting new career-highs in hits and RBIs with five and eight, respectively, while notching his second home run in two games. In Castleton's doubleheader losses to No. 28 Southern Maine, the rookie combined for three hits with four RBIs, notching his third home run in a row in game one, to put up three RBIs.

Dickinson and the rest of the Spartans return to action tomorrow (April 28) with an LEC matchup at Plymouth State set for 1 p.m.
