PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Carter Dickinson of the Vermont State University Castleton baseball team was named the Little East Conference Rookie of the Week, following a career week.

He combined for eight hits, six runs scored, and three RBIs with two doubles and his first career home run as Castleton went 2-2 on the week. In the 11-9 win over St. Lawrence, he notched a double, three runs scored, and two RBIs, tying his career-high of three hits. He added a double and one run in the 9-8 loss to Plymouth State. In game one against WestConn, he notched two hits and one RBI, including his first career home run, which tied the game at five before the Wolves took the 8-6 win in extra innings.

Dickinson and the rest of the Spartans head to Keene State tomorrow (April 21) for a LEC matchup with the Owls, set for 3 p.m.
