BOSTON, Mass. – The Vermont State University Castleton women's track and field squad had two student-athletes compete in the shot put at the 2026 New England Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship on Sunday.

Isabell Lanfear had a strong outing in the event, placing second with a mark of 12.93m. Competing in the second flight, she opened with a 12.90m toss before recording her best mark of the day on her second attempt. Her throw surpasses the previous program record of 12.36m, which was set earlier this season by Kalynn Stevenson.

Stevenson also finished in the top 10, placing eighth. After fouling on two of her first three attempts, she recorded her best throw of 12.06m on her third try.
