CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Vermont State University Castleton men's track and field team competed at the MIT Sean Collier Invitational on Saturday.
 
How it Happened
 

• Carter Mackey finished fifth in the high jump with a leap of 1.88m.
• Eddie Sayers took 11th in the discus throw, with a toss of 37.06. He also competed in the shot put, where he placed 12th in the event with a mark of 12.44m.
• Sidiki Sylla competed in the shot put where he finished 10th with a mark of 12.47m
• Wayne Alexander and Jon Hendley competed in the 800m run. Alexander took 40th with a time of 2:04.64. While Hendley placed 43rd with a time of 2:07.40.

VTSU Castleton will get set to compete at the 2025 Little East Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted by UMass Dartmouth on Saturday, April 26.
