Football Places 45 on Fall/Winter MASCAC All-Academic Team

WESTFIELD, Mass.The Vermont State University Castleton football team had 45 student-athletes named to the 2024 Fall/Winter MASCAC All-Academic Team, as announced by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference on Thursday afternoon.

To be selected, student-athletes must participate in championship varsity sports at MASCAC institutions during the Fall and Winter 2024 seasons and maintain a cumulative or semester-based GPA of 3.20 or higher.

"I want to congratulate the 2024 MASCAC Fall/Winter All-Academic Team honorees," said Commissioner Angela Baumann. "I am extremely proud to see the increase in the number of student-athletes achieving this honor."

Among the 45 honorees, the Spartans were represented by 11 juniors, 11 first-year students, 10 seniors, 10 sophomores, and 3 graduate students. The following student-athletes were recognized:
