Men's Track and Field Competes at Penman Relays

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Vermont State University Castleton men's track and field team competed at the Penman Relays on Saturday.
 
Harrison Leombruno-Nicholson highlighted the day with a new season best in the javelin throw, where he tossed 55.75m to place second in the event.
 
Jon Hendley competed in the 5000m run where he crossed the line with a time of 16:15 to finish sixth. Carter Mackey placed third in the high jump with a leap of 1.83m and Britain Goodemote finished fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 12.35m.
 
Connor Fournier finished 15th in the shot put with a toss of 11.16m and Zackary Durr took 19th in the 100m dash with a time of 11.94.
 
The Spartans return to action Friday, April 19 at MIT for a two day event.
