MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Vermont State University Castleton women's track and field placed fourth at the Middlebury Snowflake Invitational.
Leading the way for the Spartans were first year's
Karli Martin and Kaylnn Stevenson in the throws. In the weight throw, Martin placed second with a toss of 12.80m and Stevenson was right behind with a toss of 12.77m to finish third. Stevenson also placed third in the shot put with a toss of 10.96m and Martin placed fifth with a toss of 9.82m The two combined for 24 points for the Spartans.
On the track,
Amber Cuthbert competed in the 800m and finished fifth with a time of 2:34.49.
Rosie Phelan placed 11th in the 3000m with a time of 13:07 and
Eden Goldstein finished 13th with a time of 13:29.
VTSU Castleton will be back in action Saturday, January 20 at 10 a.m. for the Panther Invitational.
