Lyndonville, Vt. - The Spartans finished their regular season with an important conference win, sweeping Lyndon St. 9-0 on Tuesday to build momentum entering the North Atlantic Conference playoffs.

Adam McCaffery and Mike Glaser led the team with an 8-4 win at first doubles. Each player also earned a pro-set victory in singles as well. Kevin Rosset and Kyle Martin teamed at second doubles to earn a dominant 8-2 victory. Rosset also tallied a win at third singles while Martin grabbed a victory at fourth singles.

The Spartans took a pair of points from the Hornets by default on Tuesday, earning victories at third doubles and sixth singles due to Lyndon's lack of players. Mike Divis earned a fifth singles win to close out the sweep.

Castleton improves to 7-5 on the season and moves to 4-2 in conference play to secure the third seed in the NAC tournament. The squad will travel to Colby-Sawyer College to compete in the NAC postseason on Saturday, April 26.
