Rutland, Vt. - Castleton was unable to come up with a win, dropping a tough 9-0 decision to top seed Colby-Sawyer on Saturday afternoon at Grand Slam Tennis in Rutland, Vt.
The Spartans dropped all three doubles matches on the day, falling 8-2 at No.1, 8-3 at No. 2 and 8-4 at No. 3.
In singles, Sam Levine put up a tough fight at No. 1, dropping his match 6-1, 6-3. Corey Kimball was also strong at No. 5, falling 6-0, 7-5.
Castleton drops to 9-4 with the loss and returns to action on Tuesday when the team travels to Sage for a 4 pm match.
