Springfield, MA -The Castleton State College women's lacrosse fell to perenial NEWLA powerhouse, Western New England College 21-6 in their second game of the season.

Castleton found themselves down 15-1 at halftime, and couldn't recover against the 2-3 (1-0 NEWLA) Golden Bears.

Erin Barry led the Spartans with a pair of goals, while Stephanie Pearce added one goal and one assist. Nicole Bouchard, Alex Fleck and Nicole Adams each scored one for 1-1 (1-1 NEWLA) Castleton.

Stacey Fredrickson led WNEC with four goals, while Julianna Mulroy, Lindey Fenton, and Kayte Devine each added three goals. Castleton is back in action tomorrow when they travel to Southern Maine.
