COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.- Vermont State University Castleton's Peyton Richardson (Windsor, Vt./Windsor HS) and Gwyn Vincent (Hoosick Falls, NY/Hoosick Falls Central) have both been named to the 2026 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Watchlist as announced by the organization Thursday morning.

Richardson and Vincent are among 204 student-athletes nationwide recognized for their exceptional potential to earn NFHCA All-Region and All-American honors this season. To be eligible for the Watchlist, athletes must have previously received notable accolades within the past two years—such as NFHCA All-Region or All-American honors, All-Conference selections, participation in the Senior Nexus Championship, NCAA All-Tournament Team recognition, or inclusion on U.S. National or International team rosters. Nominations are submitted by NFHCA member coaches.

This is Richardson's second straight appearance on the Watchlist. She started seven games for the Spartans in 2025 before her season ended early due to injury. She scored four goals and had one assist during that stretch. Richardson was a 2024 Little East Conference First Team selection and was also named NFHCA Second Team All-Region.

Vincent started 12 contests last year. She led the Spartan offense for much of the year, finishing with 21 points on eight goals and five assists. For her efforts, Vincent was named to the LEC First Team.
