MANHEIM, Pa. – A program-best nine individuals of the Vermont State University Castleton wrestling program earned the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-American Award on Thursday, as announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA).
To become an NWCA Scholar All-America, one must place in the top eight at their respective regional championship or post a winning percentage greater than 66.6% across 15 or more matches. Additionally, the student-athlete must have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better over the last two semesters or an overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 through their collegiate career.
Seniors
Jashon Holmes,
Drew Marchese, and
Josh Negron earned the honor, along with junior
Jake Long. Sophomores
Stone Farnsworth,
Viktor Banda,
Dom Lapier, and
Avi Berg earned recognition for the first time, while
Joseph Baker secured a spot on the list as a first year.
