CASTLETON, Vt. – The brackets are set for the 2025 NCAA Division III Wrestling National Championships in Providence, Rhode Island, with eight members of the Vermont State University Castleton wrestling program set to compete on the season's biggest stage.

Wrestling begins at 10 a.m. on Friday for the first two preliminary rounds and the initial consolation round. Following a mid-day break, action resumes at 5 p.m. on Friday for the championship quarterfinals and the second and third rounds of the consolation bracket.

Of the eight Spartans in action, two earned seeds in the top eight of their weight class, protecting them from facing other seeded wrestlers until the quarterfinal round. James Rodriguez, Elijah Cyr, Nathaniel Camiscioli, Connor Gregory, Haven Tatarek, and Evan Day round out the Spartan's eight wrestlers, though they are not seeded in the top eight.

He is set to face the No. 3 seeded Pierre Baldwin of Central (23-1) in round two who placed first in the Lower Midwest Regional, with a bye in round one.

Cyr is making his debut at the NCAA Championships at 149 pounds, placing third at the Northeast Regionals two weeks ago. He posts a record of 26-12 and receives a bye in round one and awaits the winner of No. 7 seeded Daniel Uribe of Wabash (26-2) and Taylor Smith of Washington and Jefferson (15-1).

Camiscioli is set for his second NCAA Championship appearance at 157 pounds, with a record of 29-9, placing second at the Northeast Regionals earlier this month. He will match up with the No. 7 seeded Tyler Goebel of Wisconsin-La Crosse (25-2) in round two, who took third at the Upper Midwest Regional.

Gregory makes his first NCAA Championship appearance, taking third place two weeks ago at Regionals with a record of 30-12. He is set to see No. 8 seeded Javen Estrada of North Central (18-3) in the opening round Friday morning. Estrada finished second at the Central Regional.
