Little East Conference Announces Fall 2025 All-Academic Teams: 55 Spartans Honored

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Vermont State University Castleton athletics department had a third-best 55 student-athletes named to the 2025 Fall Little East Conference All-Academic Team.

To qualify for the LEC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in the classroom, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the previous semester, and have been enrolled at their current institution for at least one full academic year.

The women's soccer (16) team narrowly edged out field hockey (15) with most placements. They were followed by men's soccer with nine, men's golf and women's tennis with five each, volleyball with four, and women's cross country with one.

Representing the women's soccer team were Caitlin Flaherty, Maggie Parker, Emma Ezzo, Becky Hannwacker, Kristina O'Neil, Sadie Skorstad, Gwen Bridges, Maggie McKearin, Emma Kirby, Ella Hall, Daphne Much, Mallory McKenna, Allison Galante, Brianna Green, Megan Carson, and Emma Patrissi.

Field hockey saw Brooke Noble, Sierra McDermott, Mackenna Roberson, Amber Muniz, Emilee Higgins, Emerson Stamp, Jess Smithson, Madison Gile, Ava LaRoss, Lauren Bascom, Gwyn Vincent, Kylie Rogers, Peyton Richardson, Caitlin Connolly, and Genevieve Pitts to placements.

The men's soccer squad was represented by Michael O'Connor, Wyatt Robbie, Tanner Curtis, Holden Crouthamel, Sam Barr, Charlie Bell, Seth Dube, Will Ambruso, and Nate Lurie.

The men's golf team included Avvi Tanasiyenko, Cam Reid, Walter Lundstroem, and Tommie Shaw.

The women's tennis team had Andrea Rodriguez, Ginny Trevisan, Madelyn Nonni, Stella Forte, and Devon Kibbey on its roster.

Women's volleyball had Lillirose Prevost, Madison Sheehan, Alondra Rojas, and Delia Roulston placed.

Rounding out the Spartans was Bethany Davis, the lone cross country placement.
