Women's Alpine Claims Another First-Place Finish

ANDOVER, N.H. – The Vermont State University Castleton women's alpine skiing team earned its third first-place finish in a row to start the 2025 season at Proctor Ski Area on Friday.
 

Andrea Rodriguez earned her second slalom win of her career, posting a time of 1:32.80 with fellow classmate Alice Pomi finishing third with a time of 1:35.05. Emilie Stene finished fourth just behind Pomi, with Ginevra Trevisan and Gabriella Hall rounding out the Spartans finishers in seventh and 24th respectively.
 

Castleton finished with a combined score of 4:43.37 to clinch first, with Babson following behind in second with 4:50.27 and UConn in third with a 4:58.49.


The Spartans return to Proctor for another day of slalom, today (January 18).
