LUDLOW, V.T. – The Vermont State University Castleton women's alpine skiing team claimed first place in the first race of the 2025 season at Okemo on Sunday.
In her collegiate debut,
Andrea Rodriguez posted a time of 1:36.32 to earn her first career win and podium finish.
Emilie Stene secured a second-place podium finish with a time of 1:37.00.
Karleigh Hollister and
Ginevra Trevisan notched two top-10 finishes in fifth and seventh respectively.
Grace Porcaro and
Ines Robres Peireto rounded out the Spartans in 17th and 18th.
Castleton took the No. 1 spot with a combined time of 4:54.24, with Babson and Clarkson following behind in second and third.
The Spartans return to Okemo tomorrow (January 13) for giant slalom.
