NEW LONDON, Conn. – Castleton University wrestling's James Rodriguez has been named the New England Wrestling Association's Wrestler of the Week, as announced Wednesday by the league office.
 
Rodriguez got off to a hot start for Castleton at the Ithaca Invitational last Saturday, winning the 141-pound division and helping Castleton to a second-place finish as a team. The junior went 5-0 at the event, winning with one technical fall, one major decision and three decisions. His 141-pound title bout came against the nation's fifth-ranked wrestler and returning All-American Josh Wilson of Greensboro College.
 
Castleton is back in action Saturday at the Roger Williams Invitational.
