DELHI, N.Y. – The Vermont State University Castleton men's golf team took advantage of favorable spring weather as it competed in the SUNY Delhi Spring Open on Saturday.

How It Happened
• Sam Knight led the Spartans with a seventh-place finish, carding a 79 (+7). He recorded birdies on holes nine and 18.
• Ten strokes back, Cam Reid finished tied for 25th with an 89 (+17). Reid's lone birdie of the round came on the par-4 12th hole.
• Dylan Roebuck placed 28th after posting a 92 (+20) on the day.
• Emmett McHardy rounded out the lineup in 32nd place with a round of 96 (+24).

The Spartans will close out their spring slate on Sunday, April 26, when they compete in the New England College Tournament.
