SOUTHWICK, Mass. – The Vermont State University Castleton men's golf team kicked off spring competition on Friday, taking part in the Elms College Invitational.

• Position: Tied for 4th out of 6
• Team Score: 355 (+67)
• Course: The Ranch Golf Course – Southwick, Mass.
 
How It Happened
• Cam Reid highlighted the Spartans' efforts, tying for second place with a score of 77, finishing five over.
• Sam Knight finished just outside the top 10, tying for 11th at 11 over (83).
• Emmett McHardy joined the squad for the spring and placed 23rd with a score of 97.
• Dylan Roebuck finished just behind, tying for 24th with a 98.
 
What's Next
The Spartans will travel to Delhi, N.Y., on Saturday, April 18, to take part in the two-day SUNY Delhi Spring Open.
