KEENE, N.H. – The Vermont State University Castleton men's golf team tied for fifth at the Keene State Invitational on Thursday afternoon, posting its lowest round of the season.

- With the first top-5 finish of his collegiate career, Sam Knight tied for fourth after shooting a 75, just four over. Knight was only two strokes off the leader who finished with a 73.
- Reid Myers found himself in a tie for 17th, posting a score of 80.
- Teammates Cam Reid and Tommie Shaw tied for 22 with matching scores of 82.
- Rounding out the Spartan golfers was Dylan Roebuck with a 93.
- Castleton tied for fifth with the Keene State b-squad. They trailed WestConn and Norwich by seven strokes.
