CASTLETON, Vt. – The Vermont State University Castleton women's rugby team honored its lone senior in Sunday's matchup against the Middlebury Panthers.

Alexis MacLeod was recognized Sunday for her dedication and hard work to the women's rugby program for the past three years. MacLeod is a three-year member of the team and was an important part of the team. She was passionate and a natural leader for the team.
Castleton trailed throughout the first half, completing their first try and conversion seven minutes into the second half to get on the board. Despite the push in the second half, Middlebury pulled away for a 33-7 win.
