CASTLETON, Vt. – The Vermont State University Castleton women's rugby team fell 92-5 to Bentley University on Sunday afternoon. 

The Spartans showed determination throughout the match, breaking through in the 22nd minute when Samantha Hallock powered across the line for Castleton's lone try of the afternoon. Despite the score, Bentley's relentless attack built an early advantage and maintained control for much of the contest. 

Castleton continued to battle on defense, forcing several key stops and showing resilience against a deep Bentley lineup. The Spartans end the season with a 3-3 record and look to continue into the playoffs.
