MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Vermont State University Castleton men's golf team wrapped up the opening round of the Duke Nelson Invitational in 20th place after spending much of Saturday hovering around 15th. The two-day event is hosted by Middlebury College at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course.

• Sam Knight and Cam Reid led the way for Castleton, each carding a 79 to sit tied for 58th overall.
• Reid Myers followed with an 82, placing him in 80th heading into the final round.
• Dylan Roebuck shot a 91 to sit in 103rd, while Bennett Erickson rounded out the lineup in 106th.
