PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Vermont State University Castleton baseball's
Jackson Cardozo and
Tyler Dubreuil earned Little East Conference All-Conference awards as announced by the conference on Wednesday. Cardozo took home First Team honors while Dubreuil earned Third Team honors.
Cardozo concluded his collegiate career at Castleton with a .381 batting average, 53 hits, 36 runs, 40 RBIs, and eight home runs. He sits third in the conference in batting average and slugging percentage with a .655 and fourth in home runs. In the field he posted 67 putouts and seven assists for a career-best fielding percentage of .987. Over his four-year career, this is his third All-Conference award (First Team—2023, Second Team—2024).
Dubreuil finished his junior year with a .333 batting average, 43 hits, 30 runs, and 27 RBIs. On the bases he went 21 of 25 in stolen base attempts, leading the team and putting him second in the conference. In the field he collected a career-best 96 putouts, adding two assists for a fielding percentage of .980. This is Dubreuil's first All-Conference accolade.
