BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. – The Vermont State University Castleton men's lacrosse team dropped a Little East Conference matchup to Mass. Maritime on Saturday morning, falling 19-6 at Clean Harbors Stadium.

Cam Frankenhoff got the Spartans on the board midway through the first quarter, but it was all Mass. Maritime early, as the Buccaneers built a commanding 7-1 lead through the opening frame. The hosts tacked on four more in the second, despite a trio of Castleton goals as
Liam Evarts scored two and
Ethan Esposito added one to keep the Spartans within striking distance, trailing 11-4 at the half.
Mass. Maritime pulled away in the second half, outscoring Castleton 8-2 over the final two quarters.

Cam Frankenhoff each added goals in the fourth, with
