PITMAN, N.J. – Three members of the Vermont State University Castleton football team earned NJAC All-Conference honors following the program's first season as an affiliate member of the league.

Deacon Schneider headlined the group with a Second Team Defense selection. A cornerstone of the Spartan defense, Schneider led the conference in assisted tackles (57) and finished second overall in total tackles (88). He added a fumble recovery and a safety, and was named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week after a dominant performance against TCNJ in which he posted 20 tackles—six solo and 14 assisted.

Brody Tyburski and Brendan Driscoll were both recognized with Honorable Mention selections. Tyburski hauled in 31 catches for 303 yards and a touchdown, averaging 33.67 receiving yards per game. Driscoll tied for fifth in the league with two interceptions and paced the Spartans with five pass breakups.

All three standouts are expected to return next season, positioning Castleton for continued growth in year two in the NJAC.
