PORTLAND, MAINE – The Vermont State University Castleton men's golf team placed sixth at the USM Husky Invitational, as it once again golfed its best round of the Fall Season.

How it Happened
- Sam Knight continues to impress in his rookie season as he tied for fifth place, going even for a 72. This is his second contest in a row with a top-five finish.
- Finishing inside the top-20 was Cam Reid as he tied for 15th as he went five-over for a 77 on the day.
- In just his third round of the season, Tommie Shaw shot an 83 - one stroke of his season low – to tie for 33rd.
- Rounding out the Spartan golfers was Reid Myers who tied for 41st with an 86, and Dylan Roebuck in 49th with a score of 92.
