CASTLETON, Vt. – The Vermont State University Castleton women's soccer team fell to No. 7 Middlebury College 5-0.

Emma Ezzo had multiple acrobatic saves to finish with eight in total for the evening.
After piling up 26 shots, the Panthers saw five different student-athletes score with four of them tallying their first goal of the season. First-year Frankie Marston made her debut for Middlebury and earned the shutout for the Panthers.
VTSU Castleton returns to action on Saturday, September 28 at 1 p.m. against Western Connecticut at Dave Wolk Stadium.
