CASTLETON, Vt. – The Vermont State University Castleton men's soccer team fell to Norwich Tuesday evening, 1-0.
Norwich's Hunter Lortie scored the lone goal in Tuesday's matchup in the 32
nd minute to give the Cadets their second win on the season.
VTSU Castleton took control in the beginning by keeping possession and creating chances in the early minutes of the game. After Norwich's goal, they used the momentum swing in their favor to take over in the middle portions of the match.

Nate Lurie rifled an opportunity that just went high over the crossbar for the Spartans in the 14th minute.
Tanner Curtis blasted a volley trying to find the equalizer in the 83rd minute but the opportunity went just over the crossbar.
The Cadets would hold onto the lead and secure their second victory of season.
VTSU Castleton returns to play Saturday, September 28 at 1 p.m. for an LEC matchup against Western Connecticut.
