MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Vermont State University Castleton women's cross country team took fourth place at the Aldrich Invitational Saturday morning.
 
Castleton scored 98 points to take fourth at the Aldrich Invitational Saturday morning. Junior Bethany Davis led the Spartans with a 22nd finish, crossing the line at 26:41.
 
Rosie Phelan ran 29:08 to take 31st overall. Lilley Anderson placed 35th with a time of 30:11. Renae Gemari crossed the line in 30:46 for a 37th place finish and Olivia Howard took 41st with a time of 33:53 to round out the Spartans scorers.
 
VTSU Castleton returns to action Saturday, September 28 at 10 a.m. at the Hampshire College Invitational.
