NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Vermont State University Castleton women's cross country team competed at the NCAA Mideast Championship, Saturday morning.
Leading the way for the Spartans was
Bethany Davis, who placed 135th with a time of 25:51. Not far behind was
Rosie Phelan in 138th with a time of 26:04.
Renae Gamari took 155th with a time of 27:27 and
Lilley Anderson crossed the line in 29:38 to finish 171st to round out the Spartans.
Williams, ranked sixth in the country, ran away with the title accumulating just 59 points, followed by Renesslaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and No. 13 Amherst with 110 points.
This concludes the 2024 season for the Spartans.
