NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Vermont State University Castleton women's cross country team placed eighth at the Little East Conference Championship Saturday morning, scoring 204 points.
 
Castleton's top finisher Bethany Davis placed 22nd with a time of 20:10. Rosie Phelan took 54th in a time of 22:08.
 
Taking 61st and 64th was Renae Gamari and Lilley Anderson with times of 23:13 and 23:29 and Olivia Howard placed 80th in 27:39 to round out the Spartans.
 
VTSU Castleton returns to action Saturday, November 16th at 11 a.m. for NCAA Regionals.
