PROVIDENCE, R.I. – 57 Castleton University student-athletes have been named to the Little East Conference's Fall All-Academic Team, giving the Spartans the second-most honorees in the league this year.
To be named the LEC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least in sophomore standing in the classroom, have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the previous semester, and have been at their current institution for at least one full academic year.
Of the 29 fall student-athletes across the Little East Conference that currently have a 4.0 cumulative GPA, eight of them are Castleton student-athletes.
Women's soccer led the way with 13 representatives while men's soccer added 11 and field hockey had 10. Men's golf landed seven on the All-Academic Team followed by women's tennis with six, women's volleyball and men's cross country with four each, and women's cross country with two.

Jamie Ledoux earned the honor for the fourth time in her career, while
Bella Varisco,
Alex Benfatti, and
Ashlee Meczywor were named to the list for the third time each.

Jordan Mattison and
Brytney Moore were second-time honorees and
Lily Modica,
Alex Hutchins,
Jess Heinrichs,
Lauren Fotter and
Gabrielle Knight earned the award for the first time.
For men's soccer,
Jacob Henderson and
Andres Soto-Burgos were recognized for the third time each followed by
Jonathan Maul,
Charlie Cisneros,
Kevan Flanagan and
Seth Gagnon with their second award.
Lucas McCane,
Santiago Moraes,
Caleb Besaw,
Parker Scholl and
Toby Ritzkowski were first-time honorees.
Field hockey locked up 10 total honors, with
Kaitlin Bardellini earning her third All-Academic award.

Kimberly McCarthy,
Emily Harris and
Theresa Culpo received recognition for the second time each, while
Amelia Wilson,
Reilly Tennis,
Madison Hanna,
Haley Corlew and
Haley Lassen picked up the honors for the first time.
Seven Spartan golfers received the recognition, highlighted by
A.J. Tatton's third award of his career.
Kyle Sargent and Phil Kluge landed the honor for the second time each, while Zach Trempner, Andrew Stefura, Brandon Picard and Aubrey Ramey were given the award for the first time each.
Women's tennis' six honorees were led by three-time award winner
Regina Marchese, followed by
Camille Jackson,
Kayon Morgan,
Makayla Boisvert and
Megan Brier—all second-time honorees.
Pearl Bellomo earned the recognition for the first time.
Women's volleyball had four first-time honorees in
Hailey Martinovich,
Maddie Delsignore,
Vanessa LeBrun and
Jadyn Bates, while men's cross country saw
Wayne Alexander earn his second academic award along with
Rafael Robles,
Nate Forgan and
Jack Wanders claiming their first.
Charlotte Morrison claimed her third honor for the women's cross country team and
Eden Goldstein landed her second.
