PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Coming off its first Little East Conference win, the Castleton women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision at Plymouth State Tuesday afternoon.
The Panthers swept doubles, picking up a pair of 8-1 victories on the second and third courts.
Regina Marchese and
Megan Hunt fell 8-3 on the top court.
Grace Sharkey won four games in the opening set at No. 4 singles, but dropped two closely-contested sets.
Camille Jackson played the longest match of the afternoon, going three sets at No. 6 singles. She claimed the first, but dropped the remaining two.
The Spartans are set to play a final regular season match Thursday, October 14, hosting Salem State at 3:30 p.m.
