Castleton led 3-2 in the opener entering the top of the seventh, but gave up five runs as Thomas came back for the 7-3 victory. The Spartans and Thomas were tied 3-3 after five innings in the night cap and went all the way to the bottom of the tenth before Vile's late game heroics.

Anree Benitez followed with an RBI double to make it 2-0 but Nate Swahn gunned out Derek Kane trying to turn his single into a double to end the inning.
The Spartans came alive in the bottom of the frame as Swim led off with a single and Josh Jennato was hit by the first pitch he faced. Two batters later Swahn walked to load the bases with one out. Buckley followed with a hit to the shortstop and his throw to second went wide into right field, allowed two runs to score.
Castleton took a 3-2 lead an inning later when Tyler Lord led off with a single. Swim was hit by a pitch and Jennato grounded into a double play but Lord was able to advance to third. Errico brought him home on a blooper that just got into the outfield for a 3-2 advantage.
Thomas mounted its comeback in the top of the seventh with a leadoff single, chasing Michaels. TJ Fearon entered and following two wild pitches, gave up a walk to single to tie the game 3-3. A one-out single loaded the bases and back-to-back errors pushed the Terrier lead to 5-3. Fearon was relieved for Conner Johnson and he gave up two RBI double sandwiched between two strikeouts to end the frame.
The Terriers jumped on Ravey in game two, scoring twice in the top of the first. Benitez led off with a single and Kane tripled him home before scoring on a single up the middle by Beeson.

The Spartans threatened in the third before taking a lead in the fourth. With two down, Swim reached on a fielder's choice. Errico followed with a blast over the centerfielder's head, scoring Swim, but he was thrown out trying to stretch his double to a triple.
Thomas countered with a run in the top of the fifth to tie the game 3-3. Benitez and Kane each singled with two down, bringing up Beeson. He singled to score Benitez but Kane was thrown out from right field to end the inning and keep it tied.
Castleton threatened in the seventh as Errico doubled and Buckley singled. The two advanced on a one-out groundout by Collin Curler, but another groundout ended the scoring chance.
Ferro opened the bottom of the tenth with a walk and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Nick Patierne. A flyout put the Spartans one out away from more innings, but Vile came through with the clutch single to score Ferro from second.
