RYE, N.Y. – Paula Stephens was in impressive form on Friday evening as she kept the Valiants scoreless through 65 minutes of play to guide Castleton to a 0-0 overtime draw at Manhattanville.

With the result, the Spartans move to 5-2-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the ECAC East. Castleton outshot the opponents 29-26 in the contest and killed off all three of its penalties to record the squad's fourth shutout in eight games. 

Stephens is now 2-1-1 overall after stopping all 26 shots that she faced to earn her third shutout of the year. Kirsten Shaughnessy started in net for the hosts, making 29 saves as the Valiants moved to 3-2-1 overall (3-0-1 ECAC East).

The Spartans wrap up their weekend series on Friday evening when they travel to Salve Regina for a conference contests beginning at 7:30 pm.
