Thomas got off to a quick 4-0 lead in the first inning of game two as the Terriers opened the game with five-straight hits including run-scoring singles from from Goodall, Josh Gray, and Thomas Cameron.

The Spartans cut the deficit in half in the second, as Joe Borowski (Schenectady, N.Y.) and Pete Wagner (Brattleboro, Vt.) each scored, but the Terriers answered with two of their own in the second on a two-run single from Goodall.

Thomas broke the game open with five more in the sixth, highlighted by Goodall's grand slam, giving him seven RBI in the game and pushing the Thomas lead to 11-2.
