Castleton loses second straight on the road, 110-66 to Lesley

Cambridge, MA-Castleton fell for the second time in as many days to a conference oppoent, this time at Lesley 110-66. Leading the Spartans in scoring with a career-high 24.

Once again it was a story of two-halves as it appeared Castleton would be able to withstand the furious pace at which the Lynx played. The Spartans were down just six at halftime, and led by three before Lesley went on a run to close out the opening frame. The second half was a different story as the Lynx's pressure defense forced took over and put the game out of reach. Leading the way for Lesley was Stanley Chamblain with 29 points, including a 6-10 performance from beyond the 3-point stripe. Farley was followed in the scoring column by Matt Tomaino who tallied 17 points and 7 rebounds.

The Spartans fall to 1-6 on the year, 0-2 in the NAC. Castleton will finish their semester on the road Wednesday the 13th when they travel to New England College for a 7:00 PM tip-off.
