Timi Carone returned to the Castleton softball program as an assistant coach prior to the 2022 season. She racked up a long list of accolades in her four-year playing career with the Spartans 2015-2018. 

Carone earned NAC Player of the Year honors in 2017, batting .382 with two doubles, four triples, and one home run. In her senior year, the Castleton native received NAC First Team All-Conference recognition with a career-high .384 batting average. 

Carone finished her four years in the program's top-five all-time for runs scored and total hits.
