Personal: Catanzarita joins VTSU - Castleton as a decorated and record-setting soccer player with an impressive high school career. A four-year captain, Catanzarita led his team to the 2024 New York Class C State Championship, cementing his legacy as one of the top players in the state. His dominant performances earned him First Team All-State honors in 2024and League MVP recognition in both his junior and senior seasons. A prolific goal scorer, he holds his high school’s records for career goals (113) and most goals in a single season (48), showcasing his elite finishing ability and attacking prowess. Competing at a high level outside of school, he played club soccer for New York Elite Alleycats, further refining his skills against top competition. Inspired by his favorite athletes, Lionel Messi and Steph Curry, he brings a combination of skill, vision, and leadership to the field. Now majoring in Business at VTSU - Castleton, Catanzarita looks forward to continuing his soccer career while preparing for a future in the sports and business world.
