Head Coach Nathan Snitz enters his first season as the head coach of the Spartan lacrosse program in the 2025-26 academic school year.
Snitz arrives at Castleton after serving as the Offensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator at Division II Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla., during the 2025 season. Under his leadership, the Fighting Knights' offense became known for its up-tempo style and efficiency, leading to an immediate turnaround. The team improved from a 5–10 (2–5 conference) record last season to a strong 10–5 overall mark and a 5–2 finish in Sunshine State Conference play, placing second in the league. The five conference wins tie for the second-best in over a decade.
The 2025 Lynn squad saw two attackers named All-Conference, as Connor Houston was named to the Second Team and Mitch Rini made a Third Team appearance.Â
Snitz earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Florida Atlantic University, where he was a three-year starter and a two-year captain. He helped lead the team to a conference and league berth in the Southeastern Lacrosse Conference. He was named the men's lacrosse program's Offensive Player of the Year. As a member of the coaching staff he helped guide the Owls' MCLA Division II squad to its highest national ranking in program history (No. 18 in 2020) as offensive coordinator. He later earned a master's in humanities from Hood College, where he served as a graduate assistant and played a key role in both on-field strategy and academic support for student-athletes.
